Waterbeds

Lynn’s Bedroom City still has complete waterbeds available, both hard side waterbeds and soft side waterbeds. We also have waterbed accessories including Waterbed Mattresses, heaters, safety liners, Drawer Pedestals and padded rails for both hard side and soft side waterbeds. Hard side Waterbeds

Hard side waterbeds are the “traditional” style that has been around for about 40 years. Hard side waterbeds feature the wood frame surrounding the mattress, usually with a bookcase headboard at the top and with a drawer storage pedestal underneath. Hard side waterbeds are different sizes than conventional bedding. There are 3 sizes in hard side waterbeds: Super single which is 48” wide sleeping surface, Queen is 60” Wide, and King is 72” wide. All 3 sizes of hard side waterbed are 72” long.

Soft side Waterbeds

A soft side waterbed still offers the comfort of water, but is the size and look of a conventional mattress and box spring. Soft side waterbeds feature a foam interior that surrounds the water mattress and can be used with most conventional size furniture as long as you get the proper supports. Many people like a soft side waterbed because they are easier to get out of and easier to make than a hard side waterbed. Plus a soft side waterbed does not lock you into the style of bedroom furniture from the 1970’s.
